Hints for first timers, tips for seasoned pros
We think you will find our products are very enjoyable and easy to bake. However, because first
impressions, are lasting ones, we have compiled some tips to help guarantee a sure success.
Baking Pizzas
- Instructions are on the box. These are hints. Don’t use a microwave oven. Baking times vary according to the crust type and toppings selected, most pizzas bake 8 to 12 minutes. When baking two pizzas at the same time, the top one will bake quicker.
- Cheese between the crust and foil will stick.
- Pay special attention to step 3 on the box, removing the foil when the cheese becomes light golden and bubbly. Bake for an additional 30 seconds or longer, depending on how crisp you like the crust.
- Allow cooling for a minute before slicing so the cheese can settle.
- Pizza pans are great; they make it easier to handle the pie and crisp the dough better.
A pan with holes is the best way to cook out pizza.
It will cook at the same rate on the top and bottom and give a nice crisp crust.
- Pans and cutters are available in our store for less money than most retail stores.
Baking Stromboli
- Thaw completely (about 3 hours at room temp or overnight in the fridge),
then bake in foil at 500 degrees 25 to 30 minutes…yes it’s that easy.
If you like it crispy, open the foil (carefully, 500 degrees is pretty hot!!) for the last few minutes.
- If you don’t have time to thaw, defrost in the microwave (unwrapped about 5 minutes)
Then bake in foil at 500 degrees 25 to 30 minutes OR just bake from frozen in foil at 400 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
Ordering
- We really appreciate advance orders but don’t hesitate to call or stop in at the last minute; it’s never a problem. You can even place an order hours, or days in advance.

Storing
- Refrigerate 3 to 4 days, or freeze for several weeks, right in the box.
- If frozen, allow to defrost about 1/2 hour with the plastic off, before baking for best results.
